Code Explorers® Computational Thinking and Coding for preschool children introduces participants to computational thinking and the beginning of computer programming utilizing the new MIT's graphical block coding technology, and Stanford University Design Thinking methodology. On their tablets, participants will be creating sequences and programs, graphic interfaces, and ultimately they will create games they can play over and over again.
During this session the children will be exposed to:
• Understanding repeat loops
• Being able to create pictures and program them
• Write graphical computer programs
• Learn how to manipulate objects and its characteristics
• Understand how variables work on objects

Participants will learn the basics of man-machine interactions, basics of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and 
first-level programming. 
• Experiment
with simple machines such as gears, worms, linkages, and other mechanical
engineering components which are the basis of mechatronics/robotics. A mechatronic kit is provided.
